What is church membership?
Membership is the next step after you decide that New Life is going to be your home church.
It is an expression of commitment, of your willingness to serve, and your commitment to support others in the community.
To provide you with a clear picture of membership, we offer a membership class.
Step One
Attend for a while
There is no rush. Attend our Sunday services and events – It’s important to get to know us first, our culture, values, beliefs and people. Join a small group, thats the best way to see our heart in action and see how our community functions. And when you are ready, lets move forward.
And if you wish, you can learn about our history.
Step 2
Take the membership class
The next step is to take our 1 hour membership class. It is offered a twice a year. This class will help you get up to speed with information our history, our vision, how the church functions, how to get involved, and how to be a good member. Taking the class does not obligate you to join, we want you to join when you are ready. But taking the class is required for membership.
After the class, you can you response by applying for membership. To apply you must be a Christian who is seeking to follow Jesus, be baptized in water ( or willing to be baptized the next time it is offered, be at least 16 years of age, and willing to cooperate with and be accountable to the community of believers here at New Life.
